Sent to Serve
Sent to Serve is a ministry of Discovery Church dedicated to reaching out to our community and the world through service — being the hands and feet of Jesus.
SENT TO SERVE TESTIMONIES:
DYLAN AND KATIE
Sent to Serve Sundays are held approximately four times a year. On those days, we meet for a brief time of worship before going out to designated sites in our community for a morning of service.
Jesus commands us to serve and, at Discovery, we believe the church is not a building. The church is his people, doing his work in the world for his glory.
Sent to Serve isn’t what we do. It’s who we are.
Sent to Serve Opportunities
We partner with many organizations throughout the region that can use volunteer help to fulfill their missions, including Operation Blessing, East Tennessee Children’s Home, Haven of Rest, Healing Hands, Bristol Faith in Action, and others.
