WHAT DISRUPTION IS
For starters, Disruption is a really important part of Discovery Church. Middle and high schoolers don’t just sit on the bench here — they get in the game through exciting events, service projects, and a whole lot more.
We know how exciting these years can be (believe it or not, we actually remember being there, too). And that means we remember it’s not always easy!
During this important time when students want to explore and seek out what comes next in life, Disruption offers Christ-centered teachings and activities. We provide a safe space for students to come alongside others as they find and grow in a faith that is personal, a faith that helps reveal their purpose, and a faith that is filled with power.
WHAT DISRUPTION DOES
Grades 6 - 12, Wednesdays 6 - 7:30 p.m.
We have weekly meetings for students that challenge them to let their lives be disrupted by Jesus, and to become a disruptive force for him in our world. Of course, that involves games, food and fun.
Disruption centers around an engaging time of Bible study designed to equip students to deal with life as teenagers. Each week wraps up with small groups led by young adults where students can discuss difficult topics, offer support, and receive support from their peers.
